Toddler Cape Recycled Denim
A soft toddler cape to keep your little one dry after a shower, a dip in the pool or a dive in the ocean. This recycled denim poncho will be your toddlers’ favorite for many years.
For the denim products, we use fibers from used jeans. This results in the yarns coming in an amazing denim color without us having to dye them. You can even find a spec of colour from an old denim seam in your Toddler Cape. No dying, no chemicals, check! And by reusing this material, we don’t have to burn/dispose of all (y)our old jeans. Double the win!

Description
We believe that when we produce something for the next generation, we have to do it in a sustainable way. We are taking the next step to achieve this goal with this new collection made from the most durable yarn ever made! The Recycled Denim Toddler Cape is made from 25% pre-loved denim jeans and 75% Tencel(™).
Using your kids poncho, it’s childs play!
- The push-button in the neck ensures you can easily slip the swim poncho over your child’s head. When drawing the design for the poncho we kept in mind the hassle we experienced as parents pulling poncho’s over our kids head. For Palais de l’eau we choose a push button that makes it easy to get into and out of the toddler cape. And by closing the button you still have a warm toddler running around.
- The push-buttons located under the arms help you make the beach poncho fit like a sweater. Press these buttons shut and let your kid jump on the bed or run around at the beach. Your child will be happy as can be in their poncho!
- Happy Bathing!
We are extremely happy with our Portuguese fabrics producer as their way of producing is totally aligned with Palais de l’eau’s ideals. All the water required for the production of our recycled denim kids poncho is filtered and reused and all used energy is generated by solar panels. Furthermore, the entire production chain is fair, which means that it is free from child labor, discrimination, excessive working hours and is safe. In conclusion, the use of recycled pre-loved jeans in combination with Tencel to create unique yarns results in the most sustainable child poncho (from the recycled denim collection) ever made. Let’s leave footsteps in the sand, not on our planet!
